Christian Family Credit Union is pleased to welcome the members of CommonRoots Federal Credit Union as part of our approved merger. This partnership brings together two mission-driven credit unions with a shared commitment to people, service, and community.
Important Website Update — Effective Tonight at Midnight
As part of this transition, the CommonRoots Federal Credit Union website will be retired at the beginning of 2026.
Starting then, any visit to the CommonRoots website will automatically forward you to the Christian Family Credit Union website. From there, you can log in to your online banking as usual for now. Starting spring/early summer we will communicate any changes needed as we transition to the Christian Family CU system.
✔️ No action is required
✔️ Your accounts remain the same
✔️ Your online banking access continues uninterrupted and can be accessed through Christian Family CU’s website
This change is simply a technical step to support the merger and ensure all members are accessing services through one unified digital home.
What This Means for You
Members can expect:
Continued access to online banking through Christian Family CU’s website
No disruption to accounts, services, or member rights
Expanded products, improved digital tools, and additional resources
“We’re excited to welcome the members of CommonRoots Federal Credit Union to Christian Family Credit Union,” said Karen Riel, President and CEO of Christian Family Credit Union. “This partnership strengthens our ability to serve members with better technology, broader offerings, and the same personalized, local service you expect.”
A Smooth Transition You Can Trust
The combined organization will operate under the Christian Family Credit Union name. This transition has been carefully planned to ensure continuity, clarity, and confidence every step of the way.
If you have questions, our team is here to help. We’re honored to serve you and look forward to growing together.
